The three huts were located in Lijiashan, Shangruan, Changzhou, where the dwellings are hidden in the natural forest area. Therefore, our design went natural and extracted three natural materials from the surrounding environment as design elements: stone, bamboo, and wood.
The stone hut takes stone as the theme: natural rubble stone is used in the outer wall of the lower part of the building to show the effect of stocky and rustic. Bamboo hut takes bamboo as the theme, wrapping the original bamboo shape outside the building, forming a light facade skin. The wooden hut takes wood as the theme. The building is mainly made of white texture paint combined with wood veneer. The whole roof of the building is made of wood, which also shows the texture of logs in the interior.
